Earpollution Editor Craig Young recently caught up with Pitchshifter's singer and mastermind of mayhem Jon Clayden--who, along with his brother Mark (bass), Johnny Carter (guitars/programming), Jim Davies (guitars) and "D" Walters (live percussion) make up the band--outside of their L.A. recording studios in early November. With a wry smile and animated gestures, the always amicable Jon fills eP in on Pitchshifter's new album, old sound, gifts from fans, black eyes from right wing nuts, people shagging sidestage at shows, and why we could all learn a thing or two from Guy Fawkes.

Despite his seemingly gruff exterior, Conception Records' Mr. Supreme comes off confident, yet humble and earnest about Conception, its music and music in general. He doesn't waste words. He uses them sparingly. He is open-minded about his music and is succinct about expressing his
opinions. In an interview with Hope Lopez, Mr. Supreme touches on Conception Records, his upcoming
release Soul, Style and Truth and his rumored XXX video. So, in his own lingo as directed in the 1998 Conception compilation, Walkman Rotation:
"Mr. Supreme, are there any last words?"
