Over its decade-plus life span, Diesel Only has championed the vinyl single, dropped several acclaimed "rig rock" compilations, and put out one of the most celebrated singer-songwriter debuts of 2000 and 2001. Earpollution's Erik Hage catches up with Diesel Only Svengali Jeremy Tepper to see what all the buzz was about. Headlines, news broadcasts and personal experience regularly remind me of how far we have to go as a nation in our efforts to put race behind us. It seems like only yesterday Chuck D. from Public Enemy cried out "I've got so much trouble on my mind / Refuse to lose." He too was troubled by what he saw and experienced. A decade later I'm still haunted by those words, and all too often I find myself wondering how much has really changed since then. Welcome to "The Hour of Race and Revolution."
